I would to thank the goalie player who kicked the ball at the same time as my brother so he could fall over and break his elbow and I could take his place in the band. I would to thank my brother for driving me to practice. And for all my friends and family who have encouraged me and [insert fancy big word here]. I would like to thank the Hawaiian guy who played and sung somewhere over the rainbow who inspired me to play ukulele who they say died of a heart attack but I believe died of an overjoyed heart…he was “scretchin’” (this means something cool). I would like to thank all glockenspiel players for inspiring me to play those five notes and be a better person. I would like to thank the glockenspiel itself for reaching into my soul and [insert another big fancy word]. I would like to thank Nathan Shirai who is an awesome drummer, person, and for being asian and for all those awesome times we had together…he be scretchin’ also. I’d like to thank Kenny for being the most awesome youth pastor ever and for getting us where we are because there is no way we’d be here without him. I would like to thank the inventor of skinny of jeans who totally changed the way I think about my wardrobe. I’d like to thank my parents for providing food for me. I would like to thank my bass teacher David Cornwell for teaching me basically everything I know. I would like to thank my Pappy (Steve) and Betsy for taking care of us while we were there and for making us pancakes in the morning. And last but definitely not least, I’d like to thank Jesus for being my Lord and Savior and for being with us through this whole process of recording because if it wasn’t for Him we wouldn’t have been able to do this at all.
