We’re going to Moldova!

When walking with the Lord, there are times when He overwhelms you with a call and a resounding “yes” wells up within you, before you even have time to doubt or fear or figure out all the details. There are times when a way opens up, a door that no man can shut, and you run through. Not turning to the right or the left, abandoned to Him.

Right now is one of those times! We know that we know that we know that the Lord has opened a door for us to go to Moldova to lead worship and teach Bible studies for a youth camp. And the amazing thing is that each of us going had a resounding “yes!” in our spirits before we even knew all the details…or where Moldova really even is on the map. But when you see the Lord at work, and it aligns with your call to take God’s praises to the nations, and the Lord has given you such unity and love with the believers leading the ministry there, you can’t help but leap at the opportunity.
And we’re getting to take some of our dearest friends and musicians with us to help teach and serve at the camp. A friend from another local church, two friends from our church, and a couple from Wales with their sweet toddler. In all, 9 of us are going (including the toddler). The Lord has knit all of our hearts together in love and unity of purpose for this trip! And all of our families, pastors and wise counsel have agreed and affirmed this call. We cannot wait to see how the Lord will move!
Kristian won’t be going with us since he just returned from his honeymoon,
but have no fear…he’s still in the band!
Oh, and yes, Kristian and Rachel did both get married this summer!!

not be confused with our band Rachel who married a kindhearted man named Nick.
Wedding celebrations have abounded this year!!
The believers in Moldova are truly walking in step with the Lord, sharing the gospel in hard places all around their continent, and making disciples who are making disciples. We truly believe that now is their time in the Kingdom of God! And we’re honored to be servants in their midst.
We leave August 1! We know that the Lord opens doors that no man can shut, and we are trusting Him to continue to be faithful to lead and guide, as He has already. Our church home has graciously fronted the cost of our plane tickets but we need to raise about $1500 each for all expenses. If you’d like to give, you can give any of the following ways:
